1% TERMS & CONDITIONS

THE 1% ELITE ID COMBINE
Out of System, Inc.

Last Updated: 2026

By registering for any event in The 1% program — including Elite ID Combines, Futures Clinics, and Regional Futures Camps — the athlete and parent/legal guardian (collectively, "Participant") agree to the terms set forth below. Please read this in full before completing registration.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and apply to all program events operated by Out of System, Inc. ("OOS"), the owner and operator of The 1% National Setter Identification System.

1. Program Overview

The 1% is a multi-tier national identification and development program for high school volleyball setters, operated by Out of System, Inc. The program consists of the following event types:

Elite ID Combines — Open regional evaluation events for current juniors.

Futures Clinics — Invite-only development sessions for rising sophomores and juniors.

Regional Futures Camps — Invite-only immersive development events for top underclassmen.

The 1% Final — Annual national championship held in Knoxville, Tennessee. Invitation only. All travel, lodging, and meals are provided by OOS at no cost to selected athletes.

2. Registration & Payment

Registration fees are due at the time of registration and are collected via Stripe through the program registration form. Submission of a completed registration form and payment constitutes a binding registration agreement between the Participant and OOS.

OOS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event at its discretion. In the event of a cancellation by OOS, registered Participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee or the option to transfer to another available event.

3. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the program contact email prior to the applicable deadline. The following terms apply:

Cancellations received 14 or more days before the event date: full refund minus a $25 processing fee.

Cancellations received 7 to 13 days before the event date: 50% refund.

Cancellations received fewer than 7 days before the event date: no refund.

No-shows on event day: no refund.

Transfers to a different event date or location may be accommodated at OOS's discretion and are subject to availability. Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the original event date.

4. The 1% Final — Selection and Notice of Financial Policy

The 1% Final is an invitation-only national championship event. Athletes who earn selection from the combine cycle will be notified separately and will receive a Final Invitation and Commitment Agreement at that time. Registration for an Elite ID Combine does not create an obligation to attend The 1% Final.

By registering, the Participant acknowledges notice that the Final Invitation and Commitment Agreement includes a no-show cost recovery policy. Athletes who accept a Final invitation and subsequently fail to attend will be responsible for reimbursing OOS for all non-recoverable costs incurred on their behalf, including airfare, hotel accommodations, and event logistics. Full terms are contained in that agreement.

5. Media Release & Content Rights

All 1% program events are captured on video and photo for evaluation, content, and promotional purposes. By registering for any program event, the Participant grants Out of System, Inc. the irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to record, photograph, film, and capture the athlete's image, name, likeness, voice, and athletic performance during any 1% event.

OOS may use such media for any purpose, including but not limited to: athlete profile creation and database records, event recaps and highlight content, social media and digital marketing, sponsor and partner integrations, and documentary production and distribution.

No additional compensation will be provided for media usage. If a Participant wishes to opt out of non-evaluation media use, they must submit a written request to OOS before the event date. Evaluation-related recording cannot be opted out of, as it is integral to the program's scoring and documentation process.

6. Athlete Conduct

All athletes are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and safe manner throughout any 1% event. Athletes are subject to removal from an event without refund for behavior that OOS staff determine to be unsafe, disruptive, or inconsistent with program standards.

7. Confidentiality

Participants agree to keep confidential any information relating to other athletes' evaluations, scores, or personal information obtained during the course of any 1% event. Internal program processes, evaluation criteria, and scoring systems are proprietary to OOS and may not be disclosed publicly.

8. Governing Law & General Terms

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in the courts of California.

These terms represent the full understanding between OOS and the Participant with respect to program participation. OOS reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The current version will always be available at 1percentcombine.com. Continued participation in program events following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

If any provision of this agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
